SMS Messaging
Safety remains the top priority for everyone at the Naples Airport Authority, which is why the Safety Management System (SMS) Plan is being implemented. As a reminder, the SMS outlines the airport’s safety policies and procedures.
A fundamental component of the SMS is the collection of safety-related data that can be used to identify the potential risk of injury, property damage, or operational interruptions. Included in the SMS plan is a Safety Hazard Form that allows all airport stakeholders to voluntarily submit information regarding safety hazards. By submitting a form, you are providing data that can be used to identify specific circumstances and trends for developing hazard mitigation measures. This form can be accessed from a new card that will go with your airport ID. See the information below for more details.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Safety Hazard Form is designed to collect objective data regarding:
• Location
• Environmental Conditions
• Consequences (Real or Potential)
• Involved Equipment
FORM SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS
You will be provided with an ID badge card with a QR code that will take you directly to the Safety Hazard Form. You will get this card when you apply for or renew your airport ID, or by visiting the badging office.
