Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFP) -Design Services – North Road Terminal Upgrade Program

In accordance with Florida Statute 287.055, the City of Naples Airport Authority (NAA) is interested in acquiring Statements of Qualifications for professional architectural and building systems engineering services for the Naples Airport North Road Terminal (NRT) Upgrade as further outlined in the attached report (Exhibit E) which could also include planning, site selection, evaluation of solar and/or covered parking alternatives, and design of a Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) in the vicinity of the NRT. Services to be provided for the NRT facility will include all elements of the project from design of interior, exterior and sitework improvements, code upgrades, HVAC upgrades, and electrical system upgrades. Services to be provided for the ConRAC facility, if necessary, will include planning, site selection, and design. Services to be provided for the solar or covered parking facility, if necessary, will include planning, site selection, and design. The actual construction of the project shall be determined through a separate competitive Construction Manager at Risk solicitation.

All prospective Respondents are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory Pre-Submittal Conference and Site Tour on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. local time at the Naples Airport ARFF Station, 2433 Tower Drive, Naples, FL 34104.

The NAA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the best interest of the Authority and is not liable for any costs incurred by the responding parties. All Respondents must be licensed in accordance with Florida Laws. The Authority recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Respondents doing business with the Authority are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age or sex.  The NAA has a progressive Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises Program in place and encourages Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises to participate in its RFP process.

PROSPECTIVE RESPONDENTS SHALL NOT CONTACT ANY CITY OF NAPLES AIRPORT AUTHORITY OFFICIALS OR STAFF REGARDING THIS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS, OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON LISTED IN THE RFP.
