Noise Compatibility Committee Opening

The City of Naples Airport Authority is seeking a total of three (3) volunteers to serve on the Noise Compatibility Committee to fill the following seats:
- One member resident who is an active general aviation or commercial pilot.
- One member resident from the Airport’s Northeast quadrant area (that area extending north and east from the intersection of Airport Pulling Road and Radio Road, inclusive of Grey Oaks, Wyndemere and Golden Gate Estates).
- One member resident from the Airport’s Southwest quadrant area (that area extending south and west from the intersection of Airport Pulling Road and Radio Road, and south of Fifth Avenue North, inclusive of Brookside and Royal Harbor).
All Applicants must be electors in Collier County, Florida.
The Committee is charged with studying airport noise compatibility methods and recommending to the Authority programs toward resolution of complaints. The Committee meets at least three (3) times a year. The selected applicant will serve through March 2025 effective upon appointment by the City of Naples Airport Authority Board of Commissioners.
Applications must be received no later than 12:00 Noon on February 5, 2021. Public interviews of candidates will be conducted at the Regular Meeting of the City of Naples Airport Authority scheduled for March 18, 2021, at 8:30 AM, in Council Chambers at City Hall.
