Naples Airport Authority announces Justin Lobb as deputy director of aviation

The Naples Airport Authority is excited to announce the appointment of Justin Lobb as deputy director of aviation.

Lobb will oversee the fixed-base operation, airport operations, security, maintenance, planning and development activities at Naples Airport. In this newly created position, Lobb will report directly to the executive director.

“We are excited to add Justin’s expertise and forward thinking to this newly created role,” said Chris Rozansky, executive director of the Naples Airport Authority. “Justin brings the right skillset and will be a tremendous asset to the airport and community.”

Lobb’s years of experience in aviation and airport management are well-known and respected in Southwest Florida and the aviation community. Most recently serving as executive manager for the Collier County Airport Authority, Lobb oversaw the Marco Island, Everglades and Immokalee airports. Previously, he worked at the Sanford Airport Authority and AVCON Inc.

Lobb has a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a master of business administration from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Naples Airport is ideally located within minutes of downtown Naples, the Gulf of Mexico and I-75, connecting people to the Paradise Coast through an exceptional airport experience. The airport serviced 104,479 annual operations in the last fiscal year, while being an engaged, responsive partner to the community. Home to flight schools, air charter operators, car rental agencies, and corporate aviation and non-aviation businesses, the airport is also a central location for public services, including fire/rescue services, mosquito control, the Collier County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit and other community services.

All funds used for the airport’s operation, maintenance and improvements are generated from activities at the airport or federal and state grants from aviation-related user fees. The airport receives no local tax dollars. The Florida Department of Transportation values the airport’s annual economic impact to the community at more than $440 million.
