NAA Noise Compatibility Committee Openings

Naples Airport Authority is seeking a total of three (3) volunteers to serve on the Noise Compatibility Advisory Committee to fill the following seats:

1. One (1) member at Large from the City who is a resident of the City of Naples.
2. One (1) member at Large who is a resident of Collier County outside the City of Naples.
3. One member resident from the Airport’s Northwest quadrant area (that area extending north and west from the intersection of Airport Pulling Road and Radio Road, and north of Fifth Avenue North, inclusive of Avion Park and Bear’s Paw).

The Committee is charged with studying airport noise compatibility methods and recommending to the Authority programs toward resolution of complaints. The Committee meets at least three (3) times a year. The selected applicants will serve through March 2023 effective upon appointment by the City of Naples Airport Authority Board of Commissioners.
All Applicants must be electors in Collier County, Florida.

Committee Bylaws and application are also available at the Naples Airport Authority, 160 Aviation Drive North. Applications must be received no later than 5:00 PM March 1, 2019. Public interviews of candidates will be conducted at the regular meeting of the Naples Airport Authority scheduled for March 21, 2019, at 8:30 AM, in Council Chambers at City Hall.
