Pre Bid Sign In Sheet May 20 2024 — NRT Renovation

Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Packet no later than 10:00 a.m. Local Time on Friday, June 7, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Administrative Office Building (AOB), 200 Aviation Drive North, 2nd Floor Conference Room.

The project is located at 500 Terminal Drive, Naples, FL 34104. The North Road Terminal Renovation scope of work includes but is not limited to: painting the existing building and canopies, new storefront with automatic sliders at entries, new canopy roof, new landscaping, and miscellaneous modifications to continue the Airport’s mission of providing an enhanced airport experience for visitors. The complete scope of work is outlined in the drawings and specifications dated May 7, 2024.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a non-Mandatory Pre-bid Conference and Site Visit to be held on Monday, May 20th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Local Time at the North Road Terminal (NRT), 500 Terminal Drive, in the main lobby area.

Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Naples Airport Authority and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid made payable to the Naples Airport Authority. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.

All questions concerning the bidding process and/or the contract documents must be emailed in Microsoft Word format to Nathalie White, AIA, Schenkel Shultz; by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024. Bidders are encouraged to monitor the Naples Airport Authority Website for posting of Addenda up until the submittal deadline.

All Bidders must be licensed in accordance with Florida Laws. The Authority recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Respondents doing business with the Authority are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age, or sex. The NAA has a progressive Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises to participate in its RFP process. The Naples Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner’s best interests.
