INVITATION TO BID – General Aviation Terminal Roof Rehabilitation

Bid Submittal Deadline: The proposals must be received by Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM Local Time. Proposals must be submitted in physical form and will not be accepted by email.
Description: The City of Naples Airport Authority (the “Authority”) is soliciting sealed Bids from qualified contractors for the General Aviation Terminal Roof Rehabilitation project.
The scope of work involves a comprehensive removal and replacement of the existing roofing system down to the structural deck. The contractor is responsible for removing all existing materials, repairing or replacing up to 500 square feet of deteriorated wood decking, and preparing the surface for the new installation. Key tasks include installing a tapered insulation package, ensuring proper drainage with crickets and saddles, and eliminating ponding water. The system requires fastening DensDeck Prime roof board through the insulation and deck, installing new lead and stainless-steel components around drains and penetrations, and applying multiple layers of roofing membrane and flashing using specified adhesives and techniques. The project includes the installation of new lightning protection, a 5-year workmanship warranty from the contractor, and a 40-year No Dollar Limit warranty from Garland/DBS. Final steps involve applying aluminized roof coating and ensuring all work is completed to the satisfaction of the Authority.

Publication: This notice of the request for proposal is publicly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in Collier County and on the Authority’s website, at least 30 days prior to the established ITB due date.
