The City of Naples Airport Authority is seeking sealed bids for the Taxiway “A3” Relocation at Naples Airport. This project consists of relocation of the existing Taxiway “A3” connector between Taxiway A and Runway 5-23 by approximately 150′ to the northeast. Work items include removal of existing pavement, construction of a new asphalt pavement taxiway connector and associated grading, lighting/signage, marking, and incidental items.

All interested prime contractors are strongly urged to attend a Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. ET at the Naples Airport, General Aviation Terminal, 2nd Floor Larson Conference Room, 160 Aviation Drive North, Naples, Florida 34104. Questions may be submitted until 5:00 pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 to Mike Harris at mharris@hanson-inc.com as a Microsoft Word document. No questions will be accepted after that time. Answers to all questions will be compiled into an addendum and posted above on Thursday May 25, 2023. Proposers are encouraged to monitor the Naples Website for posting of Addenda up until the submittal deadline.

Bidders shall not contact City of Naples Airport Authority Employees, Agents, City of Naples Elected Officials, or the Engineer to discuss the project.

Prospective Bidders shall make sure that bids are mailed or delivered to the City of Naples Airport Authority, (address above) no later than the deadline specified, using the forms furnished with and conforming to the requirements of the Bid Documents. A bid bond or certified cashier’s check payable to the City of Naples Airport Authority, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must be enclosed with the bid. The NAA assumes no responsibility for bids received after the bid submittal time or at any location other than that specified, no matter what the reason. Late bids will not be opened and will not be considered for award. No bidder may withdraw his bid within a period of one hundred fifty (150) days after the actual date of opening thereof.

All bidders are advised that the project will be funded in part by an Airport Improvement Plan grant, therefore typical Federal mandatory provisions will apply to the contract. Among these are:
