East Quad apron repaving and hangar door replacement begins in August
Airport staff are focused on minimizing impacts to customers
The NAA will repave the East Quad apron and replace 10 hangar doors beginning August 9 and continuing through October 2021. All dates noted are subject to change.
This project will involve temporary, phased closures to the East Quad apron, alternate aircraft taxi routes and replacing doors to hangars in three groups – Hangars 2405 – 2407, Hangars 2202 – 2203, and Hangars 2301 – 2305. These hangar tenants are required to remove aircraft and relocate or remove contents as hangars will not be secured.
The schedule for repaving the East Quad apron is as follows:
Phase 1: August 9 – 31
Phase 2: September 1 – 10
Phase 3: September 11 – 30
Phase 4A: October 1 – 15
Phase 4B: October 8 – 20
The map above illustrates the phased closure dates of the East Quad apron and the hangars where doors will be replaced. Replacing each hangar door will take up to 7 days.
