Airfield Lighting Rehabilitation & Electrical Vault Replacement

- A $25.4M major resiliency initiative to help protect critical airfield infrastructure from hurricanes and tropical storms while minimizing operational disruptions.
- The project includes installation of more than 1,000 elevated, watertight runway and taxiway lights designed to better withstand storm surge flooding, more than 140 new backlit signs, and a new Airport Lighting Control and Monitoring System.
- Also included is replacement of the airport’s electrical vault with a new storm-resilient design.
- Construction is anticipated to begin on July 13, 2026, with completion expected in approximately 20 months.
- Anticipated Airfield Closures:
- Taxiway C will be fully closed between the approach end of Runway 14 and Taxiway D from August 20, 2026, through September 7, 2026.
- Runway 14-32 will be closed on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

North Road Terminal Interior Improvements

- The project will modernize the terminal’s interior through phased renovations designed to enhance functionality, durability, and the overall customer experience.
- Scope includes selective demolition, upgraded finishes, casework and furnishings, and improvements to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Work will be coordinated to maintain ongoing airport operations and access to the Rental Car Agencies will be available at an adjacent onsite modular facility.
- Construction commenced in June 2026 and is expected to be completed in November 2026.
Security Improvements Phase II

- Improvements include modernization of the airport’s security infrastructure, including upgrading the access control system, integrating security cameras into a new video management system, and installing additional intercom systems, access control readers, and security cameras.
- Construction is underway and is expected to be completed in September 2026.
General Aviation Terminal Roof Replacement

- The project has successfully reached Substantial Completion and is currently progressing through final punch list items and closeout activities.
Fuel Farm Improvements

- Improvements include resiliency upgrades, a new operator office, modernizing safety systems, access road widening, and the addition of a new tank for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
- These efforts are vital to improving airport operations and infrastructure while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Construction is underway and is expected to be completed in early 2027.
Facilities Improvements

- The project continues to make excellent progress and is in its final stages, with Substantial Completion anticipated in October 2026.
East Quad Hangar Door Replacement

- The eastern portion of T-Hangar Buildings 2100 and 2200 are undergoing replacement of twenty (20) existing sliding hangar doors with new, single panel, power operated hydraulic hangar doors.
- Project construction is currently on hold, with work expected to resume once a path forward for completing the remaining construction activities is finalized.
- The Leasing Office will continue to work closely with affected tenants to help ensure a smooth process.
404 Citation Point Hangar Renovation

- The Naples Airport Authority is renovating the hangar and attached office building at 404 Citation Point, originally constructed in 2000.
- The project will modernize interior and exterior finishes, and extend the useful life of the facility.
- Construction commenced in July 2026, with anticipated completion in January 2027.
2000-Series Hangars (Buildings 2000-2600) — Roof Restoration

- The project has successfully achieved Substantial Completion and is moving through final punch list and closeout activities.
3000-Series Hangars (Buildings 3000, 3100, and 3200) — Roof Restoration

- After weather-related delays, work has begun on the 3000 block.
- Coating and associated repairs will be performed throughout the project.
- Completion is estimated for September 2026.
Airport Office Building Exterior Door Improvements

- Electrical installation work associated with the new sliding door system has been completed. Door installation is expected to begin within the next 3 to 4 weeks, marking the next major milestone for the project.
