Chris Auron and Richard Krawczun Re-Elected as Chair and Vice Chair of the NCC
The Naples Airport Authority is pleased to announce that Chris Auron and Richard Krawczun have been re-elected as Chair and Vice Chair of the Noise Compatibility Committee (NCC) for 2023.
A Naples resident since 2011, Chris Auron is committed to serving the community. He particularly enjoys leading the NCC as he is an accomplished pilot and holds the highest certification as an aircraft mechanic. His career has focused on innovative software development, most recently in health-related data analytics and artificial intelligence. He served in the United States Air Force for 10 years and later in the Arizona Army National Guard. Appointed to the NCC in March 2019, he represents the geographic area northwest of the airport.
With over 35 years of experience in local and municipal government service, Krawczun brings a wealth of public sector experience to the Committee. Having also taught at Rutgers University, he understands the critical importance of explaining complex topics in a way that the public can easily understand and appreciate. Appointed to the NCC in March 2020, he represents the geographic area southeast of the airport.
The NCC is comprised of nine citizen volunteers who help monitor the impacts of aircraft noise and make recommendations about noise-mitigation procedures for consideration by the Naples Airport Authority Board of Commissioners. The members serve as volunteer representatives of the Collier County Commission, Naples City Council, general aviation pilots and six geographic areas around the airport.
