Anthony Gamboa is the Employee of the Quarter for the Naples Airport Authority
It’s been one year since Information Systems Manager Anthony Gamboa joined the Naples Airport Authority, and his contributions have made an instant impact throughout the entire organization. For his efforts, Gamboa was recognized as Employee of the Quarter at the NAA Board of Commissioners meeting in January.
One of Gamboa’s first projects was introducing Microsoft Planner to the Naples Aviation line room monitors. Additionally, he developed and implemented a software program and phone app to automate and track limo and car driver services when they arrive to pick up passengers, improving the travel experience for FBO customers.
It was during the renovation of the General Aviation and North Road terminals that Gamboa did some of his most notable work. During these back-to-back projects, Gamboa went above and beyond to enhance and improve the technology at both locations. He delivered fully operational systems — phones, gate access control, computers, televisions, and audio systems — when each of the new facilities were reopened and created a seamless transition for NAA staff, pilots and customers.
Despite his many ongoing projects, Gamboa never hesitates to help an NAA colleague or customer when they have a question or need his technical support.
The NAA appreciates all that Gamboa does to support the airport team and customers, and is thankful for his expertise and talents.
