In 2023, the Naples Airport Authority (NAA) Board of Commissioners initiated a study to assess the feasibility of establishing a new airport in Collier County. Prompted by factors such as noise concerns, anticipated county growth, and limitations on the current airport property, the study aims to identify potential new airport sites through a comprehensive analysis. The NAA is committed to keeping the community informed as the study progresses.

Primary study elements:

  • Long-Term Outlook for Collier County
  • New Airport Requirements
  • Key Factors to take into consideration, such as existing and potential tenants, customers, and businesses.
  • Identification of Potential Sites

This study will not:

  • Recommend whether APF should relocate or close
  • Include any alternative analysis
  • Recommend a new airport site
