A Fun Day at the Airport for Local Families
— The MOMS Club of Naples
Visits the Naples Airport on Labor Day —
What better way to spend a holiday weekend than an outing at the airport. That’s how approximately 20 children and their parents from the MOMS Club of Naples enjoyed Labor Day, September 6.
Hosted by the Naples Airport, the kids were treated to wooden and foam airplanes, and stickers and pencils, all courtesy of the NAA and Collier Mosquito Control District, which is based at the airport.
The visitors assembled at the NAA’s observation deck, the perfect place for youngsters to safely move about and get their wiggles out. A highlight for the MOMS Club of Naples was the arrival of the airport’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting truck. The firefighters handed out hats to the children and sprayed the truck’s water cannons to show how they’re prepared to extinguish aircraft fires from the truck cab.
The families had a great time at the Naples Airport and enjoyed the up-close opportunity to learn about the airport and its importance as a community resource.
The primary mission of the MOMS Club of Naples is to support at-home mothers with fun activities, supportive friends, and meaningful community involvement. Learn more here.
